Nehemiah's Builders

Do you want to serve God, but don't know how? Then join our "Nehemiah's Builders". What started as a men's ministry has grown into a church wide group of men, women, and youth that want to make a difference in our community. Our group is making small scale repairs to homes of those who need them the most; our senior adults and single mothers. Join us as we work to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by sharing his love through our service as "Nehemiah's Builders".

If you or someone else in the Bloomingdale, Pooler or Faulkville area can use some assistance drop us a email or call the church office. We will contact you and perform a site visit to determine if we are able to give assistance. God has blessed us with a small budget for repairs but we appreciate any and all donations that can be made to supplement or fund the project. We would love to help you if we are able.

Our First Project

We began our ministry with a rebuild of a worn out wheelchair ramp. By the time we finished, our youth had landscaped the yard, our ladies had "spring cleaned" the residence, and our men had built a ramp to last many years.

Our Second Project

Our second project involved a single wide trailer in dire need of repair to the exterior. The owner is a recent cancer patient, who by God's grace has been declared cancer free. We repaired the exterior siding,repaired a uneven floor, plumbing, and repaired her front porch steps. God is so good to allow us to use our talents in his service and share his love throughout our community.
